What is now known as Body Logic School of Cosmetology and Esthetics, first started out as a small esthetics school located on Highway 280 in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded in 2009, owner and instructor, Renee Hughes, wanted to share the revolutionary techniques and first-hand experience she learned from the industry’s top leaders in her 20 years of being in the beauty industry, to our next generation of industry professionals.
Body Logic School of Cosmetology and Esthetics is a student-focused learning environment that focuses on providing the highest level of education possible, using hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology that you can’t get anywhere else! At Body Logic School of Cosmetology and Esthetics, we prepare you to enter one of the fastest growing fields in the job market. Our spa therapy classes teach you how to develop individual facial and spa treatments. Spa history, theories, and therapeutic benefits will be discussed along with promotion and pricing.
You will learn how to properly operate and care for spa equipment, develop treatment plans, and practice creating custom treatments and corresponding spa menus. We teach our students the skills they need to grow and thrive as professionals in the Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring industry.
Our education course includes hands-on lab conducted in our teaching clinic. It is designed to train students in a comprehensive selection of facial and body treatments. Students will receive indications, contraindications, therapeutic effectiveness, and treatment protocols for the most popular therapies offered in the United States.
